Another Life-sized Fox Squirrel

I just finished this commission this morning. He's a big fellow at 12 inches long and 8 1/2 inches tall. I tried something different with him. I put magnets in his tail and in his back so his tail could be posed either up or down. But the magnets weren't quite strong enough. So it's permanently attached in the position shown.

It's so real! I'm sure you've just gone to the park and taken photos of a real one. :D Amazing. :)

I love squirrels. We don't get to see them much here where I live. Yours is beautiful. I love the pose with him in the tree.

Thank you, Sharon. Helen, Joanne & Elfo :-)! We don't have squirrels around here either, other than the little ground squirrels. But there's a really weird story. The manager of our water company claims there is a spider monkey out at Booster 1, near our well. I can't imagine why anyone would think it was a good idea to release a monkey in the desert. My husband and I are talking about an overnight camp out at the booster to see if we can trap the monkey and take it to our local no-kill animal shelter.
